The ADG Biennial is a landmark event in Brazil’s graphic design scene. Every edition maps out what’s most relevant in the country’s contemporary production, connecting different generations, formats and creative territories.
For the 11th Biennial, we were responsible for curatorship, visual identity, graphic design, and the communication campaign. The starting point was the map of Brazil, reinterpreted as an organic and vibrant shape, in a visual gesture that dialogues with the previous edition and expands its language.
The identity combines curves and lines, tradition and contemporaneity. Pastel colors evoke graphic memories of the past, while dynamic gradients point to a present in motion. The entire system was designed to offer versatility and impact, with graphic resources that reinforce the registration campaigns, publicity and spatial design of the event.
