Rio+Design was created as a platform to promote design from Rio de Janeiro, connecting creatives, companies and institutions around the transformative power of design. Acting on multiple fronts, the project included exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, always with a strategic, sensitive and integrated approach.
Leo Eyer was directly involved in the conception and curation of the event, contributing to the unfolding of the visual identity into language and exhibition design. Boldº was responsible for translating the concept into immersive experiences that combined aesthetics and content in high-impact environments.
In Rio de Janeiro, the exhibitions occupied emblematic spaces across the city, exploring different ways of presenting local design in dialogue with themes such as sustainability, innovation and the creative economy. In the international editions, held in Milan, the challenge was to project the identity of Rio’s design onto the global stage, adapting the visual narrative to an international context without losing its Brazilian essence.
The combination of curation, graphic design, production and installation resulted in striking projects that united strategy, creativity and execution with equal intensity. Boldº took part from conceptual development to the smallest details of the spatial experience, creating environments that celebrate diversity and the strength of design as a language.
