Abraçar e Agradecer, Maria Bethânia’s anniversary tour celebrating 50 years of her career, brought together music, poetry and the visual arts in a deeply moving theatrical experience. Conceived to reflect the artist’s singular universe, the performance transformed the stage into a space where memory, emotion and imagery continuously interacted.

Invited by Bia Lessa, we developed the visual language of the performance, creating animations, videos and projections that incorporated embroidered pieces from Maria Bethânia’s personal collection alongside original content created especially for the production. The identity system unfolded throughout different moments of the staging, expanding the theatrical narrative and creating a continuous dialogue between the repertoire, the scenography and the audience.

The result is an immersive experience that strengthens the identity of the performance while translating the delicacy of Maria Bethânia’s artistic universe into moving images. More than accompanying the music, the project transforms memory, poetry and art into a sensory narrative.
